Himalayan salt is nutrient dense and contains 84 natural trace elements and minerals, including iron, magnesium, potassium, and calcium, which is where it gets its range of pink color from. Due to its high mineral content, Himalayan salt is believed to have many health benefits and healing properties, including lowering blood pressure, balancing the body\’s pH, and stimulating circulation. The salt\’s mineral content also results in a bolder, cleaner taste than most other salts, making this pink salt suitable to use in both cooking and finishing applications.
